Welcome to my new series!
^_^ Momentos is going to be a collection of unrelated story shorts that pop up but usually never make to full blown fics. Little snippets of time, just scenes usually, that I've collected since they are good on their own, but just weren't long enough to post or felt incomplete because I was thinking in bigger terms. So this is their moment.
Alot of these will be experiments in prose, style, etc. Many will be about pairings I've never written about but came up with cute spotlights for.
In short, this series is literally moments from Slayers, little momentos of events. Quite a few won't fit into the Slayers continuum, though, since they'll be based in Elseworlds, or in the future or even in the past. But enough of my babbling ...

Well, I noticed there aren't alot of Gourry/Zelgadis fics out there, so I wrote my own.
It started out with Clasp, then Hand, and I realized I needed a middle
piece so out came My.
BaiLamos
Zel slashed with Gourry, Xellos, and Valgarv. Inspired by Erique Inglesis's
BaiLamos. This was one of those semi-symbolic things where I experimented with format. I
rather like this one.
Tomorrow
Yes, it's Xellos/Zelgadis. Yes, I have written this pair before. But it started short,
sweet, and undefined with a bit of the beginning, the end, and a smudge in the middle. When I
finished I realized it was too long for my personal requirements for Momentos but
it fit here so I left it. An experiment on a diffent cast of the typical love/hate theme in
Xellos/Zelgadis fics. I don't think it worked, but it raised a few questions in my mind of
'well, what else?'.
In An Instant
This mini-series deals with sudden realizations made by characters when confronted by
another character's actions or words. Spawned by the first part of this series,
Want, it often has to do with my own introspections/questions when confronted with scenes
from my videos. Don't take that last sentence as law for this min-series, though, just as
something to keep in mind when reading. Once again, I experimented with form.
Golden Stars
This is a Slayers and Star Trek: The Next Generation crossover. I wrote
this thing three times in three different ways until I finally liked it enough to post it.
It takes place in a reality that is reminiscent of Tomorrow, except that nothing is
left of the Slayers world when this fic takes place. At which point, the USS
Enterprise enters the picture and finds the only two survirors. I didn't have enough of
a plot to make it a real story, so I took a snap shot of time and only posted that part.
Idol
Inspired by Two-Mix's White Reflection. Not much to say about that. The
format is once again an experiment, as I attempted to capture the event as a music video or
anime would. I don't think I even began to succeed.
