"WAKE UP! ZEL!"
Said chimera woke up to Lina shaking him. "Wha-?" he choked out, looking up into her ruby eyes. "What? Lina?"
"Oh, L-sama," she said, hugging him. "Y-you were screaming, so I came in, then... then you started bleeding... but you weren't hurt... I... I was afraid that you were dying..."
He closed his sapphire eyes, and hugged her close. "Gods. Lina. I-it was all a dream... I dreamt that... you... were bleeding, and I couldn't stop it. And... you weren't dying. Oh, gods, you didn't die. Instead, you laughed about it... That laugh..." A tear ran down his face. "But you're alright. You're fine. Thank L-sama, you're fine." He kissed her flame tresses. "You're fine."
The sorceress stiffened, then pulled off of him. "Zel? What are you doing?"
Zelgadis pulled her down, and kissed her mouth. "I-I'm so glad you're fine," he said into her lips. "So glad... Even if this is just another dream."
Her eyes opened wide as she pulled back. "A... dream? Zel, this isn't a dream." The chimera grabbed her wrists. She shivered at the look in his eyes. "Zel, let go of me. Please."
Zelgadis started shaking. "No. This isn't real. You aren't Lina. You can't be Lina." He laughed hysterically. "No! Of course not! Why would you be in my room? The only answer is that this is another dream, and they'll be like the others. We... you'll get horny, then we... we... we'll make love, then I'll lose you. I-I don't want to be surprised again. I know now. So let's get this over with, what-ever-you-are."
Lina tried to pull her wrists out of his hands. "Zel, I... I never... Zel, listen. This isn't a dream. I don't want to fuck you right now. I-I don't want to..."

Lina gulped as he ran his hands under her shirt, and cupped her breasts. With a sudden anger, he ripped off her shirt. "That was my shirt, asshole!" she snarled.
"Your petite body... with the illusion that it shatters under any kind of physical force..." His hands wandered up and down her body. "You're like a sylph... delicate, but strong... and I want to test your strength." Zel's clothing fluttered to the floor. "All of it..."
She shivered. He made her feel... feel... she didn't know how. "Zel, please..." Lina said, but the protest was much weaker.
The chimera ripped off her pants as well, and rolled on top of her, placing his hands on her shoulders as she started to struggle in ernest. "No! Zel, don't!"
He hesitated over her. "Lina... I do love you. I... I always will. But I need this stupid dreams to stop, now!" With that last word, Zelgadis plunged into her hard. She screamed in pain, then looked up at him. His eyes were... worried?
"Zel... I love you too..." She closed her tear filled eyes. "But I didn't want this now. I... I wasn't ready to give you everything. I'm not ready."
A tear ran from her ruby eyes, and he kissed it away. "I'm sorry, Lina. I... I didn't mean to hurt you." The chimera stroked her cheek. Then, a searing pain ran through his head. "Aah!"
Lina pulled the sheet up to her chest as Zel pulled off of her, screaming in pain. She looked over to him, and saw him looking up at the ceiling blankly. Then, his eyes closed again.
